Toughest Days ahead in Iraq

"Whenever the political clock finally strikes midnight in Washington, it will set into motion a U.S. withdrawal whose momentum will be difficult, at best, to reverse. On the ground in Iraq, another blood-red day will be dawning, illuminating a volatile landscape that no one can foresee, but which all the world will view as the legacy of America's intervention."

This article is a great synopsis of the political realities in Washington, and the difficulties that we will face when political realities force a withdrawal.
